Lodging and food is also available for Hunters and guests not hunting at Spring Creek Ranch.
Anyone born after December 31, 1965 must have completed a hunter education course before obtaining a Utah hunting license.
The lodge is located between Blanding and Monticello, Utah. Elevation ranges from 5,200 ft to 7,200 ft. The typography for Spring Creek Ranch consist of farm and range lands with draws and washes. Spring Creek ranch is private property and only those hunters having paid and received permission will be allowed to hunt on the ranch. The weather during the day is mostly in the 70's and the 60's at night, with a possibility of rain. Hunting mostly consists of treestands or ground blinds, ambushing the deer to get them into bow range. There is no deer activity during the middle of the day. Spring Creek is located next to the town of Monticello, Utah. The Lodge is located 10 miles south of Monticello. Meals will be provided by Sean and Jerry Vogel and lodging by Canyonlands Lodge. Continental Breakfast will be served when hunters awake for their days hunt, rolls, donuts, oatmeal, toast, hot chocolate, and coffee will be served. Lunch consist of sandwiches, soup, and chips. Dinner will be served before or upon return from the field which ever the group selects, and consists of home style meals.
All hunters and guests will be staying at the Canyonlands Lodge, sleeping consist of an open loft upstairs, a master bedroom, and 3 bedrooms downstairs. The lodge can be seen by going to canyonlandslodge.com.
